International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty is observed on October 17 every year by the united nations. This year, the day is being observed under the Theme “Acting together to achieve social and environmental justice for all”. In 2019, the day was observed under the  theme “Acting together to empower children, their families, and communities to end poverty”.
